Why Fortestry ?
We are big fans of the fort; a place to create and call your own. Whether it's the tree and and blanket forts of our childhoods, or the apartments or homes we live in now. We believe that your fort should be an expression of yourself, and that's why we are called fortestry - the art of making a fort a home.
  
  
Where are you based out of?
We are based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
   
   
Do you have a physical storefront?
We've chosen to launch as an online and pop-up retail project.
At this time we do not have a physical storefront. If you'd like to join us at a pop-up
event, please sign up for our newsletter.
  
  
Are you looking for new products?
We are in a never-ending search for simple, well made things by Makers and Artists.

Can you send my order as a gift?
Yes. Make sure to enter the address of the orders destination, at checkout, and email us within 48 hours
to let us know the order is being sent as a gift. Our products are always wrapped before being shipped.
If you'd like to include a special note, just let us know when you email us.
      
   
How long will it take to receive my order?
We typically dispatch items Monday - Friday, and usually within 48 hours of receiving payment.
You will be notified when your order has been sent, and should receive your order within
4-10 business days after the items have been shipped. 
   
  
Can I make changes or cancel my order?
Yes. You can change or cancel an order up until the time it has been shipped
(usually within 48 hours). Please contact us if you wish to do so. 
   
                                                                         
The item I want is out of stock. Can I be notified when it becomes available?
Just enter your email in the contact box, located on the items product page and icon.
We'll notify you as soon as it is back in stock.
   
            
Why do you need my phone number and email?
We need your email address and phone number to contact you if something changes,
after you have placed your order. We promise not share your information with any third parties,
and will not contact you for promotions unless you have signed up for our newsletter.
     

How will I know that you have received my order?
We will send you an email confirmation that your order has been received.
    
                                   
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept MasterCard and Visa, and process all payments through a secure network.
All prices are in Canadian dollars.
  
   
How do you calculate your shipping fee's?
We charge flat-rate and capped shipping across Canada, and flat-rate shipping across the USA.
Orders destined outside of North America are calculated by size, weight, and destination.

How do you charge for taxes?
Residents of British Columbia are subject to Sales Tax.
Residents outside of British Columbia are subject to GST or HST only.
Residents outside of Canada will not be charged sales tax. Please note that shipments bound for the US
and other international locations may be subject to customs duties or taxes upon arrival.
    
  
What is your return policy?
If you wish to return or exchange an items, please notify us within 10 days of receiving your order.
Products may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order.
